AND I thought

We've always been like that.

You've always been the sensitive one;

I've always been the blunt one.

You're always thinking;

(maybe a little too much)

I don't think at all.

You'd make assumptions;

I'd jump to conclusions.

AND I thought...

....that it was going to be over.

That I'd finally be free from your emo-ness.

That I'm through. dealing. with. you.

Karma's a bitch.

We get together.

We get all buddy-buddy.

We do stupid things.

(the AGC thing)

We get annoyed.

We argue.

We shun each other.

We regret.

We sorry-ed nonstop.

We hug.

(as in *hugs* but oh well)

We forgive.

And the cycle starts all over again.

AND I'm an idiot for following the cycle.

Karma's a bitch.

But I'm not complaining.

At least I'm not the only idiot out there : D

I thought

...that you knew me.

That you would understand.

That things like that won't ever get in our way.

That things like that wont. ever. b r e a k.

But oh, so now I'm like that, huh.

Well, sorry.

I was never one to fawn over another.

Sorry.

If I've ever made you think that I'd never care.

And if you think that I'm writing this to get even with you,

sorry.

There's no need to blame yourself,

(even though I think you'd never anyhow)

cause' I realize that I, too,

was stupid to believe in things like that.

And for being able to hurt me like that,

(i have to admit, you're good)

well done.

A four-months long holiday...

...is what most people would kill for. Who wouldn't want it? You get to eat, sleep, play, sleep, sleep, shop, sleep, travel, sleep... Ok, ignore the repeating sleep. After doing pretty much everything I can think of, I started cultivating mushrooms. And I believe the technical term for it is called "在家发酶". So I went for a part time job to kill time and earn some money. Even though I could have sold those mushrooms for god knows how much but that's besides the point.

Anyway, I worked as a promoter every weekend for about 6 weeks. And during that time, I've handled three projects.

Project No.1 : Colgate Plax

I nearly cried when I got this project. This is the worst thing I've ever sold. Come on, who buys mouthwash everyday? From a pharmacy no less?! BUT, I get to wear a dental coat! It looks kinda cool, and some customers even mistook me for the pharmacist 8D

.

Project No.2 : Nestle Bliss Yogurt Drink

This is the easiest job so far. It's a healthy drink, taste great, AND its on promotion. Most people would grab a few bottles after sampling. What can I say? Drink Nestle Bliss yogurt drink to keep yourself healthy and your tummy looking great! : D

.

Project No.3 : Nespray 1+ and 3+

Handled this project for 4 weeks. A bit challenging, considering the many many kinds of milk out there, and FOUR other milk promoters at the same place. Lol. But we didn't bite each others' head off, in fact, it's really fun having those aunties around, since they are always gossiping exchanging information XD Oh and if you wanna see those aunties, go Giant Kinrara, they're still there : D

.

My second job was an office job. The staff there call the office their pulau, cause' there are only less than 20 staff there. Basically, my job is to call the members and convert them into registered members, meaning I'll have to ask for their personal details over the phone. I totally understand if people are suspicious about this kinda phone calls (even though I've already have their IC number and member card number...), but some of the customers can be so... ridiculous lol.

"Hello, good morning, this is Amy calling from The Loaf. Am I speaking to Madam XX ? "

"Yes this is XX speaking. What is this about?"

"Ok, this is regarding your membership card. I understand you've already have our membership card, but you'll need to register online to fully enjoy all the discounts. "

"Last time I tried to register online myself, but it doesn't seem to load. "

Ok........

"Oh, so do you mind if I do it for you? I'll just need a few details from you."

"I think it's absurd. Why should we go through so much trouble for a membership card? It's just a bakery."

( #-_-)

"That is why we are taking the initiative to call up our customers and help them do it, madam."

"I still think it's absurd."

"Oh, then it's ok. Have a nice day." *click*

Btw, I was the one who hanged up.

Yea, there are people like that. What's so difficult about registering online? Even if they don't know how to, they can always ask their children to do it for them. And we even called to help them, but noo, they just had to be a jerk to everyone. There is this lady who even went:

"Can you just let me go? Can't you see I'm running a company here?!"

Erm, I'm pretty sure I'm not holding onto you...

*checks both hands*

...and heck, we're on the phone, so I definitely can't see you!

.

Anyway, here's a picture of some of my colleagues.

All the ladies at M & M : DDD

From left:

Margaret:

My supervisor of some sort. She signs my attendance log book. Has tons if food coupons.

Ms. Ng/ Ying Hui:

The head of HR department. She signs my paycheck 8D

Kakak Eleen:
A very "in" grandmother. Can make jokes and laugh for hours over it. Deals with the suppliers.

Kakak Siti:
Her voice sounds like a kid's lol. Saved me when I sprained my leg. Haha...

Angeline:
My cousin sis. Manager of the sales department. Free loaded at her place the 3 weeks I worked there :'D

Joanne:
The boss's PA. Pro at dealing with troublesome customers. A very nice lady.

Kakak Hui Li:
Another one who can laugh nonstop over the same topic lol. A stray cat gave birth to 2 kittens in her room.

Bee Khian:
The head accountant. Had to stay and work till 3am at the office once.

Another few who are not in the picture....

Mr. Tan:
Another manager. I use his place when he's not around. Angeline calls him Uncle Tan XD

Abang Sham:
Not sure what his main job is. I use his place when Mr. Tan is around.

Kin Leong:
The youngest there other than me. Photographer for all events.

Mervyn:
Another manager of some sort. Can be really mean at times, in a good way lol.

Last but not least, Mr. Jiro:
Our boss. Japanese guy. Body builds. Tan. Lookslikealoanshark *erhem* Loves durian.

And I really have to include this picture:

Notice the only guy there? That's the head chef, Chef Matsubara. Already in his forties. He invented most of the breads and pastries there. Spends most of his time at the outlet, but is often at the office for meetings. Adapted some of our Malaysian slang when speaking lol. Looks good. Looks really good in casual wear. Looks even better when he smiles. : D

And notice how I dedicated a whole paragraph to Chef Matsubara?

Well, he's cute. And I'm bias.

And he's cute. And he can cook.

And he's really cute.
